Founder Message

The inception of the Maitreyee Social Welfare Foundation has revealed yet another chapter of unmatched success in the field of socio-economic development for the poor people, the majority of who are stays in the Rural areas of West Bengal. The broad spectrum of activities and their success rate speak volumes about the dedicated work taken up by the members of the Maitreyee Social Welfare Foundation.
As we move ahead of another milestone, it gives me great pleasure to share with you some of our recent experiences, challenges, and achievements.
It has been a successful year with some of our outlined projects including community development, New Awareness Camps, and Health Check-up Camps introduced this year like Dental check-up Camps, Eye Check-up camps, etc. We came up with a multi-specialty hospital in our area. To get more insight into health care issues, we will conduct health checkups cum screening camps. I would like to mention the tremendous effort that our team put in and as a result of that, we’ve conducted various awareness camps regarding Health and put our efforts into primary school, book distribution, etc. We have been working with our partners to empower communities to access their rights and entitlements. We have continued our work in the conservation and utilization of local resources to achieve ecological balance and build sustainable livelihoods. It’s a year of innovation, testing scale methodologies, and strengthening processes internally so that we make our foundation stronger as we keep growing.

Over the last few years, Maitreyee Social Welfare Foundation has been in a privileged position of receiving significant interest in the work we do, with Bequests from across different stakeholders and states in West Bengal for support on issues relating to lack of Awareness regarding Health. Increased focus on government-driven initiatives, aimed at Awareness of the rural communities to Nutrition and prevention Regarding different diseases for their better health.
The main aim of our organization is to promote various social activities by providing various awareness campaigns, cultural programs, training programs, etc. for the welfare of society.
The team has diversified, with Maitreyee Social Welfare Foundation now being engaged in projects across West Bengal. While these changes are still nascent and would continue to be so for the next few years, Knowledge is power, and with this knowledge, the younger generation will have the power and confidence to protect them.
Finally, I am thankful to all our partners and friends who have reposed their faith in our ability. We have a commitment and will to address the needs of the unemployed. Help Line Welfare Organization team believes in excellence and we are committed to serving it in the years ahead, hence our best is yet to come.
